Niall Phelan - MRIAI, RIBA niall@niallphelanarchitects.com Niall is a qualified Architect and a full member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and Chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He is also on the Register of Architects in Ireland (07071) which is managed by the RIAI. Niall is also an RIAI architect accreddited in conservation at grade 3. He is also a qualified Project Supervisor for Design Process in accordance with the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006.
	After qualifying in 1976, Niall worked for a number of years in O'Neill Flanagan & Ptns Architects in Waterford and then in 1978 he joined KMD Architecture in Dublin where he stayed until he opened up his own Architectural Practice, Niall Phelan Architects, in August 2010.
	Having joined KMD Architecture in 1978 he was quickly promoted to Associate status within the Practice and then in 2001 he was appointed a Director of the Company. He held the position of Financial Director from 2004 until 2010 at which time he decided to launch his own Practice. Since setting up Niall Phelan Architects he has been commissioned to undertake quite a number of significant and interesting projects and is confident that his new Practice will grow from strength to strength. Niall has gained vast experience in a wide range of building types during his 35 years of service. These include retail, residential, commercial and office development. He also has an in-depth knowledge of Design, Building Regulations, Contract, Planning and Health & Safety.
